Montgomery County COVID-19 Cases Surpass 10,000

Montgomery County COVID-19 Statistics

Monday morning the Maryland Department of Health reported 10,111 cases of COVID-19 in Montgomery County, which is an increase of 189 cases from the 9,922 reported Sunday.

According to the health department, 526 county residents have died from COVID-19. This is an increase of four deaths since Sunday. The number of probable deaths is 36.

 

 

Maryland COVID-19 Statistics

As of Monday morning, there were 47,152 confirmed cases throughout the state. That is an increase of 839 cases in the last 24 hours. There were 2,187 deaths, an increase of 25.

In Maryland, 8,092 people have been hospitalized since the outbreak of COVID-19.

Currently, 1,279 Marylanders are hospitalized with COVID-19, which is nine more than Sunday. Of the currently hospitalized patients, 517 are in intensive care.

A total of 13,922 cases and 909 deaths involve the state’s African American community.
