Montgomery County Continues to Push for Participation in the 2020 Census
As the main determinant in drawing district lines, funding initiatives and the number of seats in the House, Montgomery County continues to encourage residents to complete the 2020 Census.
A recent tweet from the county emphasized that “Everyone Counts in Montgomery County.”
Put the “count” in Montgomery County! Be sure to complete the Census online, by phone, or by mail. It’s safe, confidential, easy, and important. https://t.co/z78wgx3Q7W#2020Census #EveryoneCountsMCMD pic.twitter.com/KsD6odsAde

The Census Bureau sent out information to individual households on how to respond in mid-March. On April 1, Census Day served as a reference date rather than a deadline for “who is counted and where in the 2020 Census,” according to the Bureau’s official website.
As of mid-April, the Census Bureau sent out paper questionnaires to homes that had not responded.
Every household in Montgomery County can still respond to the 2020 Census in one of three ways:
- Online: www.2020Census.gov
- Phone: 844-330-2020
- Mail: U.S. Census Bureau National Processing Center, 100 Logistics Avenue, Jeffersonville, IN 47144
