Montgomery County Board of Education Primary Election Day
Montgomery County voters will elect four nonpartisan members to the Board of Education in November – one At Large, one each from Districts 1, 3, and 5. The top two vote-getters in the June 26 primary for the at-large and District 3 seats will move on to the general election. Districts 1 and 5 only have two candidates each and they will advance to the general election, so Districts 1 and 5 do not appear on the primary ballots.
Polls are open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the primary election. Anyone in line at 8 p.m. will be permitted to vote.
The Board of Elections will release results of Early Voting Tuesday as soon as possible after 8 p.m. The first Election Day results are scheduled to be released at 9 p.m. Results will be updated every 25 minutes after 9 p.m. until all results are received at the Board of Elections office.
