Montgomery Community Media Introduces New Spring Break Class: YouTube You for Teens
Does your teen want to be the next YouTuber? If so, MCM is offering a new class for youth titled “YouTube You.”
The class is scheduled for the week of April 10 through 14, and coincides with the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) district’s spring break week.
The class will cover creating professional videos using green screen techniques, graphics and editing. This will be accomplished on the student’s smart device.
This class is open to all seventh through 12th grade students and it takes place at MCM studios, 7548 Standish Place in Rockville. The fee for the class is $300.
Full scholarships are available for students with demonstrated need. The application is available online, here.
