Montgomery College Student Helps Animals Find New Homes (VIDEO)

Meet Stephanie Filho- An eighteen-year-old who spends Saturday nights taking care of sugar gliders.

She is a Montgomery College student with aspirations to become a veterinarian. For the past five years, this life science student has been rescuing animals and finding them new homes. She has helped more than 13 sugar gliders.

Filho also has a blog where she shares more about their life expectancy, signs of a healthy or sick glider, and diet options. MyMCMedia’s Aline Barros reports.
