A look at some of the road projects taking place in Montgomery County this week (Aug. 3-Aug. 9):

• MD 355 (Rockville Pike/Wisconsin Avenue) from MD 191 (Bradley Lane) to MD 187 (Old Georgetown Road)—Road resurfacing and utility conduit work—single and double lane closures, overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Inner and Outer Loops of I-495 (Capital Beltway) between exit 28 (MD 650/New Hampshire Avenue) and exit 30 (US 29/Colesville Road)—Bridge demolition and construction—single and double lane closures, overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• MD 355 (Frederick Road) from King Farm Boulevard to Central Avenue—Road resurfacing and utility relocations—single lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and double lane closures, overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• MD 586 (Viers Mill Road) from Randolph Road to Robindale Road—Water utility line replacements—single and double lane closures, overnight, Sunday through Saturday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• I-495 bridge ramp over Macarthur Boulevard – single right lane closure and partial ramp closure on I-495 inner loop from 5am to 11am on Sunday, August 3 for bridge work.
