Feb. 8, 6:44 p.m. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the northwest portion of Montgomery County, such as Poolesville, Damascus and Germantown, and a Winter Weather Advisory for other areas, including Gaithersburg, Olney and Bethesda. The weather alerts are in effect from 10 p.m. tonight until 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
