MLK Breakfast

The Montgomery County Maryland Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc requests your attendance at the 37th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Memorial Breakfast which will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013. The event will take place at 7:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. at Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center located at 5701 North Marinelli Road, North Bethesda, Maryland.

The breakfast will be held on the “19th” this year because of a conflict with the Presidential Inauguration, to occur on Monday, January 21, 2013.

The speaker for the event will be Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, an award winning author, educator, journalist and motivational speaker. Dr. Hill currently contributes commentary and analysis about issues related to race, politics, popular culture, and socio-economics for MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News Channel, where he is a political contributor and regular guest on The O’Reilly Factor”. He is also the host of the nationally syndicated television show “Our World With Black Enterprise”, which airs Sunday mornings on TV One and broadcast markets around the country. This year’s theme is “Moving Toward a Common Dream”. Music will be provided by the IUL Choir.
