The annual Minority Legislative Breakfast took place on Dec. 7. The African American, Asian and Hispanic business communities use this meeting to present their priorities to our elected officials. Top concerns included eliminating the education gap for financially disadvantaged children and emergency temporary housing for families losing their homes to foreclosure.
