Middle School Students Compete in Invention Challenge

More than 850 middle school students presented their inventions for preserving the planet Saturday during the 2019 Invent the Future Challenge Summit. The invention challenge and competition was held at Gaithersburg High School.

For a full year, the students worked on their ideas, creating solutions and designing prototypes. The team of judges included professionals from MOAA, NIST, Pepco, Emergent BioSolutions, University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins and others.
