Metro Stations Closed Due to Purple Line Integration

This weekend, Silver Spring, Forest Glen, Wheaton and Glenmont stations will be closed Saturday, Feb. 29 and Sunday, March 1 due to Purple Line integration.

There will be free shuttle buses replacing the Red Line train between Fort Totten and Glenmont. The shuttle will not stop at Takoma. Passangers traveling to stations beyond Silver Spring must exit at Fort Totten. Red Line will continue to opperate between Shady Grove and Takoma.
