Metro Says Back2Good Plan Delivering More On-Time Rides

Metro’s Customer Service, Operations and Security Committee is scheduled to meet Thursday, Nov. 16. and on their agenda is the latest Vital Signs Report. The report concludes that “better performance was achieved in FY18 than FY17 due to the actions completed in the…Back2Good plan. Metro customers are experiencing fewer train offloads, better on-time performance, and fewer unscheduled delays as a result of new railcars, improved maintenance programs, and schedule enhancements.”

The Vital Signs Report report is prepared quarterly and analyzes key performance measures to monitor the delivery of quality service over time.

The key performance measures examined in this report include bus on-time performance, rail on-time performance, MetroAccess on-time performance, customer injuries, customer satisfaction with bus service, customer satisfaction with rail service, ridership, and crime.

Metro reports that three of the eight key performance measures met or exceeded expectations. They are bus on-time performance, rail on-time performance, and crime. MetroAccess on-time performance and ridership measures nearly met expectations.
