Metro to Extend Late-Night Service for Washington Capitals Game 4

Metro is partnering with Xfinity to extend metrorail service on for Game 4 as the Washington Capitals battle the Vegas Golden Knights for the Stanley Cup.

Game 4 will take place at the Capital One Area on June 4.   Xfinity will provide the $100,000 in costs needed to extend service hours on the Metro.

“We are so excited that the Caps have made it to the Stanley Cup Finals and want our customers and local residents to be able to be there for the games,” said Mary McLaughlin, senior vice president of Comcast’s Beltway Region. “We are proud to partner with Metro and Mayor Bowser to ensure our fellow Caps fans can use Metro to get home safely following the game.”
