Metro & Elected Officials Warn Red Line Users to Expect Delays During Safe Track Surges in August (VIDEO)

Metro officials are urging Red Line users to adjust their travel plans and find alternatives during SafeTrack Surge 6 which will impact the Red Line from August 1 to 7. During this time, the Red Line will be single tracking between the Silver Spring and Takoma Park stations.  Following Surge 6 will be Surge 7 from August 9 to 18 with single tracking between the Shady Grove and Twinbrook stations.
