Media Converge on Montgomery Village (Photos & Video)
UPDATED
Dozens of reporters and photographers converged on a a quiet Montgomery Village neighborhood on April 19 when it was learned one of the neighbors is related to the suspects wanted in the Boston Marathon bombings. FBI agents were seen leaving the resident’s house while a helicopter hovered for hours above the neighborhood.
The resident, Ruslan Tsarni, said he is the uncle of the suspects.
After Tsarni talked to the media, MyMCMedia’s Sonya Burke asked some of the passersby walking along the neighborhood streets for their reaction to the scene.
In the afternoon, Tsarni went door-to-door talking to neighbors. Montgomery County Police Spokesperson Janelle Smith said county police were dispatched to the neighborhood for crowd control as the request of the chief. She also confirmed federal agents were on the scene.
