Maryland Meals for Achievements (Photos and Video)

Montgomery County Councilmember Valerie Ervin, who chairs the Council’s Education Committee, joined a coalition of elected officials, representatives from the Share Our Strength organization and residents at Roscoe Nix Elementary School in Silver Spring on Dec. 19 to highlight the importance of universal breakfast.

The event recognizes the leadership of Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley and Share Our Strength for their
partnership which over the past two years has led to 33,000 kids starting their day with breakfast.
