MDOT Announces Weekend Lane Closures

Maryland’s Department of Transportation State Highway Administration has announced weekend lane closures that could impact your travel in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties.

Below is a list of closures:

US 29 (Colesville Road) – between I-495 Capital Beltway and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue)

• WSSC water line replacement project
• Single and double lane closures
• Mondays through Fridays between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. single and double lane closures
• Sundays through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. single and double lane closures
• Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. single lane closures

Northbound I-95/I-495 Capital Beltway – bridge over MD 193 (Kenilworth Avenue)

• Emergency bridge deck repairs
• Sunday between 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. triple left lane closures
• Delays are expected
