MCPS Superintendent Scheduled to Release Recommended FY 2018 Capital Budget on Oct. 27

Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Jack Smith is scheduled to release his recommended FY 2018 Capital Budget and the amendments to the FY 2017–2022 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) on Thursday.
According to a news release, the Montgomery County Board of Education will hold public hearings on the CIP at 7 p.m. on Nov. 10, and Nov. 14, in the Carver Educational Services Center auditorium.
Residents who are interest in providing input may call the Board Office beginning Oct. 28 at 9 a.m. More information can be found on the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) website.
The Board of Education will hold a work session on the CIP at 6 p.m. on Nov. 3. The adoption of the proposed CIP is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 21.
