MCPS Cancels After-School Activities Tuesday Due to Weather
Montgomery County Public Schools has canceled all after-school and evening activities due to pending weather conditions, according to the school district’s Twitter page.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory Tuesday morning and a winter storm watch until Wednesday evening.
The school district will monitor weather conditions throughout the evening and will make a decision to delay or close schools by Wednesday morning 5 a.m., according to MCPS spokesperson Derek Turner.
Montgomery County Public Schools will have regular, on-time dismissal today, March 20, 2018. However, due to pending weather conditions, all after-school and evening activities are canceled.
