MCPS Bus Driver Sentenced for Sexual Abuse of Students

A former bus driver for Montgomery County Public Schools was sentenced to prison Wednesday for sexually abusing bus driver was sentenced to prison Wednesday for sexually abusing two 11-year-old female students on his bus.

Salvador Rodriguez, 60, of Kensington, was sentenced to 11 months in prison, according to reports.

He was arrested last March after detectives from Montgomery County Police Department began an investigation.

Officers found that on three separate occasions, Rodriguez has inappropriate sexual contact with the victims while riding on the school bus.

Rodriguez was a bus driver for bus routes that included Rockview Elementary School, Newport Mill Middle School, and Albert Einstein High School.
