MCPS Begins Student Laptop Distribution
Montgomery County Public Schools began distributing laptops to students today outside of all high schools and some elementary schools.
The laptops are reserved for students who do not have access to a computer or laptop at home, according to MCPS. The distribution of laptops comes after MCPS moved classes to online instruction through April 24, due to the coronavirus.
Students or parents need to present a student ID at the pick-up location in order to receive a laptop, according to MCPS.
Further information on pick-up times and locations is listed on the MCPS coronavirus website.
MCPS is providing laptops to students with a need to ensure they can access instruction from home. Distribution begins today, March 26. Learn more: https://t.co/MKngbMAKhm pic.twitter.com/bUUmSJyki1

I’m a student of GHS and today I went to get a Chromebook, but this doesn’t work. I charged the Chromebook like for one hour and it does not turn on. So I don’t know if I can change it.
