MC Bus Stop Improvements (Video)

Tom Pogue, Montgomery County’s Department of Transportation Community Relations Manager, gives an update on the bus stop improvement program which is now in its 7th year. To date 2/3 of the county’s bus stops have been improved at a cost of $7 million. Some of the criteria used to determine needed improvements are;
Can passengers wait at the stop without being in danger?
Is the stop close to a street crossing and is that crossing safe?
Is there an accessible path to the bus stop?

Take a look at this video for more details.
