Maryland Offers COVID-19 Relief Grant for Small Businesses

In an effort to support small businesses in Maryland that have been impacted by the pandemic, the state has established the Maryland Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program.

The grant program includes $10 million in state RELIEF Act funding and offers working capital to provide assistance to Maryland small businesses that halted operations due to COVID- 19.  According to the Maryland Department of Commerce, grant assistance will provide interim relief complimenting actions with its bank, business interruption insurance and financial partners.

The application deadline is April 6 at 11:59 p.m. For businesses that are interested in this relief grant, funding is limited which may result in approval on a first-come, first-served basis.
