Maryland Comptroller Promotes No Sales Tax Weekend on Energy Appliances Tour in Silver Spring (VIDEO)

Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot stopped in Silver Spring early Monday to kickoff his energy tour that encourages Marylanders to go green.

Comptroller Franchot visited Nolan’s Apache Appliance to announce that shoppers will pay no sales tax on qualifying Energy Star appliances and products from Feb. 18 to Feb. 20.
