Ruel Francis Dempster II | MCPD

Montgomery County police are asking the public’s help in finding Ruel Francis Dempster II, who is wanted in connection with the slaying of his wife in their Bel Pre Road home, a police statement said.

Police said they have an arrest warrant for Dempster, 30.

His wife, Alice Mino Dennis, 34, was found dead on the kitchen floor about 11 a.m. April 18 in their home in the 3600 block of Bel Pre Road, police said. She suffered trauma to her upper body, police said.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore ruled her death a homicide, police said.

Dempster could not be found, police said. Detectives noted that many of his personal items were gone from the apartment.

Through investigation, Major Crimes detectives believe that Dennis was killed after a domestic dispute.

Investigators are seeking information from the public regarding Dempster’s whereabouts. Detectives have received information that Dempster was seen in Baltimore on the afternoon of April 17.

Anyone with information about Dempster’s whereabouts is urged to call the Montgomery County Police Department at 301-279-8000 or Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).  Callers may remain anonymous.
