Man Climbs Wheaton Radio Tower
Montgomery County police and fire rescue units were called to the Wheaton Radio Tower today for the report of a man who climbed the 300-foot high structure near University Boulevard and Veirs Mill Road.
Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said the man was not injured.
No word on what inspired him to make the climb or if he will face any charges.
