Making a Difference (Video)

The month of November is a busy time for the Manna Food Center as thousands of people turn to the local food bank for assistance.  MyMCMedia’s Sonya Burke reports how the local nonprofit is making a difference to so many in Montgomery County.

On Nov. 20, Manna Food Center helped over 429 families and over half the residents were in line at the Wheaton satellite office. The number of people needing help in Montgomery County is on the rise. Last year, the food bank helped 13,125 households and this year that number is already up to 13,727 households.
