The Main Street Farmers’ Market opens for the growing season on Saturday, May 5 and runs every Saturday through November 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can visit the Market in the Main Street Pavilion at 301 Main Street, one block off of Kentlands Boulevard in Gaithersburg. With 33 vendors, Gaithersburg’s Recreation Program Coordinator Kristin Hux said the market is much larger this year compared to last year. In addition to arts and crafts, baked goods and bread, and produce and plants, this year’s market includes some new vendors such as a meat vendor from Misty Mountain Farm and organic coffee from Organo Gold. Hux said visitors will be able to purchase burgers, hotdogs, lamb chops, goat, etc. from the meat vendor and coffee will be served by the cup from Organo Gold.
