Magruder Girls Lacrosse Defeats Northwest 15-13
Magruder High School Monday April 30th 2018
The night began with a celebration of Magruder Senior Lacrosse players as they played host to the Northwest Jaguars. The Magruder senior night celebration stalled as the Jaguars of Northwest to a 6 – 4 lead into half time. During the first five minutes of the second half Magruder scored three unanswered goals to take the lead and they never looked back.
Both teams are well coached and a late push by the Jaguars kept the pressure on the Colonels to hold their lead. Several key saves by #31 Laurie Pierce helped maintain the Magruder lead throughout the second half.
