Lt. Governor Brown on Anniversary of Sept. 11 Attacks

anthony brownMaryland Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown released the following statement today in recognition of the 13th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks:

“When our country was attacked 13 years ago, Americans showed their true character: as men and women of every faith, nationality, color, and creed came together to support our neighbors in their hour of need. We will never forget the thousands of Americans who lost their lives on that tragic day, nor the countless firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and ordinary citizens who risked – and in some cases, gave – their own lives to save others. Today, we pause to remember those who were lost and re-commit ourselves to working, each and every day, for freedom, peace, and tolerance here at home and throughout the world.”
