Lt. Gov. Boyd Rutherford: ‘Impeachable Offense to Incite Violence’

Maryland Lt. Gov. Boyd Rutherford (R) is criticizing President Trump on Twitter as Pro-Trump protestors are breaching the U.S. Capitol.

“Impeachable offense to incite violence as @realDonaldTrump has done,” Rutherford tweeted.

Gov. Larry Hogan also condemned the protestors, tweeting, “All Americans should be outraged by this attack on our nation’s Capitol. This is a heinous and violent assault on the heart of our democracy. I will not stand for this, and neither should any American.”

Hogan directed Maryland State Police to send troopers in to Washington, D.C.

PBS News reports that at least one person has been shot inside the Capitol.
