Local Teacher Gets COVID-19 Vaccine at New Mass Vaccination Site

37-year-old Greg Sanzone of Potomac is a local teacher, and he recently got his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

“I’m really excited… a little nervous,” he said while waiting in line to get the shot at the new mass vaccination site that opened this week on Montgomery College’s Germantown campus.

MyMCM was there and asked Sanzone how the process went for him.

As vaccine supply allows, County Clinics are currently vaccinating:

  • Residents 60 and older
  • Essential workers (a priority group which includes transit workers, teachers, child care workers, grocery store workers)
  • Individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Residents ages 16 and older with underlying medical conditions
