Grocery Stores Open on Thanksgiving Day

Several local grocery stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day, most with somewhat limited hours. Store hours may vary so it is wise to call to confirm opening hours before heading to the store.

Giant: 6am – 6pm
Safeway: 6am – 7pm
Whole Foods:
Kentlands 8am -4pm
Bethesda: 7am – 4pm
Silver Spring: 8am – 3pm
Rockville 8am – 5pm

Harris Teeter stores that are normally open 24 hours will be closing at 6pm.

Giant, Safeway, and Harris Teeter pharmacies are closed Thanksgiving Day.
