Lipsync Mom Breaks Internet at Maryland Game
The mom of the year award goes to Mandy Remmell, 29, who embarrassed her son at a Terrapins basketball game.
During a timeout, the “fan cam” focused in on Remmel who was singing along to Kelly Clarkson’s 2004 hit song “Since U Been Gone.” As she “performed,” her son appeared to melt into his own sweatshirt out of embarrassment.

Even though 10-year-old Blake was embarrassed by his mother’s performance, Kelly Clarkson enjoyed it, tweeting, “This is my kind of mama.”

“He’s also very excited, and he’s wondering now how viral it’s gone. He’s like, ‘How many likes do we have?’” Remmel told The Post.
On Twitter, Remmel told MCM’s Deirdre Byrne that in addition to “Since U Been Gone,” her favorite karaoke songs are Deniece Williams’ “Let’s Hear It for the Boy” and Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places.”
@DeirdreByrneMCM There are so many great ones to choose from! I’d say some of my personal favorites are Denise Williams “Lets Hear It for the Boy”, @kelly_clarkson “Since U Been Gone”, @garthbrooks “Friends in Low Places” just to name a few! #MDkaraokemom https://t.co/eHse0MRjHF
