Lightning Strike Causes Fire at Derwood Townhouse
Several people have been displaced after officials say lightning struck the roof of a townhouse in Derwood on Sunday around 2:45 a.m.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services say it took about 75 firefighters to quickly put out the blaze on the 7700 block of Epsilon Drive. Officials added that at least two families had to be displaced. There were no injuries.
