Leggett to Announce Partnership in Health Discount Program for Residents on Jan. 12

prescription drugs 450x280Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett is expected to join County Councilmember George Leventhal, chair of the Health and Human Services Committee, on Jan. 12 to announce a partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACO) that will provide residents with low cost health services, according to a news release.

NACO’s Live Healthy Program helps uninsured and underinsured residents with prescriptions, health and dental costs.

The program, which is administered by CVS Caremark, also includes discounts on vision care, hearing aids & screenings, lab work, and diabetic supplies.
