Leggett Opposes Elimination of MTA Routes
The Maryland Transit Authority (MTA) proposed the elimination on August 1 of three MTA bus commuter routes that utilize the Inter County Connector (ICC): Nos. 202, 203, and 205. Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett wrote today (May 24) to the MTA stressing the importance of the routes to the Bethesda BRAC and Shady Grove Life Sciences areas and asking MTA to not eliminate the routes.
Public hearings are scheduled:
Tuesday, June 4 at College Park City Hall from 6 – 8 p.m.
Wednesday, June 5 at Owen Brown Interfaith Center, Columbia from 6 – 8 p.m.
Thursday, June 6 at Bohrer Park Activity Center, Gaithersburg from 6 – 8 p.m.
