Learn to Garden in Gaithersburg

The Gaithersburg Community Museum continues its Tuesday Topics speaker series with a session focusing on vegetable gardening on Tuesday, April 8 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. For reservations e-mail museum@gaithersburgmd.gov or call 301.258.6160 and leave a message. Payment may be made at the event.

Master Gardener Heather Zindash will be speaking on “Growing Vegetables Where You Are.” At one time Gaithersburg was a robust agricultural community, but many are now limited to decks or small spaces for gardening. Ms. Zindash will speak on how you can grow vegetables anywhere.

Located in the restored 1884 B&O Railroad Station complex near the intersection of Summit and Diamond Avenues in Olde Towne, the Gaithersburg Community Museum features educational exhibits and programs designed to spark interest and imagination about Gaithersburg’s history. Visit the Gaithersburg website to learn more.
