Celebrate Korean American Day on Jan. 13 (Video)

Montgomery County Councilmember Valerie Ervin was joined by local Korean community leaders on Jan. 9 to celebrate the unanimous passage of a Council proclamation recognizing Korean American Day for the very first time  this month in Montgomery County. Korean American Day will be officially celebrated in Montgomery County on Jan. 13. The day recognizes the first group of immigrants to the U.S. from Korea, who arrived Jan. 13, 1903. At today’s news conference, local leaders expressed their appreciation and pride. Take a look.
