Kentlands Salon Series Concerts Begin Oct. 27
The “sfz salon series” of concerts premieres at Kentlands Mansion Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. The series features music, discussion and wine with a fusion of classical, contemporary and experimental chamber music in an intimate setting. “Sforzando,” represented as “sfz” on sheet music, indicates a strong, sudden accent on a note or chord, and this new series is designed to provide an energetic, inspirational and creative sanctuary for both artists and the audience, encouraging great music and lively discussion during four distinct programs. Each program will also feature two highlighted wines, with consultants on hand to help the audience explore them.
