Kentlands-Lakelands 5K T-Shirt Design Contest Winner

The winning entry in this year’s Kentlands-Lakelands 5K kids design t-shirt contest.

The winner of the 2014 Kentlands/Lakelands 5K kids t-shirt design contest is Mariana Ruiz, a student at Rachel Carson Elementary School.

Gaithersburg’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Director Michele Potter noted there were more than 100 drawings submitted in this year’s design contest.

The 2014 Kentlands/Lakelands 5K Run, Walk and Kids Fun Run takes place on August 30 at 8 a.m. in the Kentlands and Lakelands communities of Gaithersburg.
