From an urban planner to becoming the mayor of the town and a top Maryland state official, Mayor Peter Fosselman is adding yet another title to his resume: President of the Maryland Mayors Association, a division of the Maryland Municipal League.
Fosselman was elected president by his fellow mayors. He will serve in the post for one year, following his term as first vice president.
The Mayors Association was founded in 1994 and represents all 157 mayors of Maryland.
Fosselman, 47, is serving his fifth term as Kensington’s mayor.
