A former Rockville mayor and city councilmember, Rose Krasnow is no newcomer to politics. But she says the world of campaigning has changed because of social media. In this video extra, she shares a personal example of how fast news can travel these days.

Krasnow, the Interim Director of the Montgomery County Planning Department, attended a March 2nd Leadership Montgomery workshop on campaigning and said after the workshop that she is “considering” a run for County Council in 2014.
