County Council Begins Interviewing Candidates for Police Advisory Commission

The Montgomery County Council held its first round of interviews for its new police advisory commission Monday.

On Tuesday, Councilmember Nancy Navarro tweeted a screenshot of the session, saying, “we are fortunate to have so many amazing [residents] willing to serve.”

The commission will consist of 13 members, all of whom will serve for three years. Over 200 residents applied for the positions by the June 19 deadline.
