Interfaith Works Clothing Center Expanding
The Interfaith Works Clothing Center in Rockville is planning to expand its space so Montgomery County families in need will be able to do more than just shop for free clothing and home items.
The new center, which is moving upstairs at its location in Rockville, will offer access to job training resources, English classes and a computer lab, according to a news release.
Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett will be cutting the ribbon on May 8 to open the new space.
There will also be a “Dress to Impress,” section to help job-seekers find appropriate professional clothing to succeed.
The Interfaith Works Clothing Center serves more than 13,000 economically vulnerable residents each year by providing hem with the opportunity to shop for free clothing, toys household items and even special occasion clothing such a prom dresses.
Might have been more beneficial if you had told people where it is and how they can help.
