Indians Beat Hornets in State Football Showdown

The Franklin Indians outscored the Damascus Hornets in the 3A state football championship Thursday night to win 35 to 21.

The Hornets were out to an early lead up by 21 points. That was until the Indians scored 35 unanswered points, with the final seven points coming with less than a mninute left in the fourth quarter.

The Indians repeat as the 3A champions. Damascus last won the state title in 2007.
