Impact of Vaping on Youth and Health

Health officials say one vape cartridge is equal to about 20 cigarettes.

Vaping is on the rise among adolescents and teens. So are seizures, nosebleeds, fever, vomiting, chest pain and shortness of breath, symptoms of severe lung disease. The American Lung Association recently estimated that at least 5,700 kids start to vape every day.

Science and medicine agree that the link between vaping and lung disease is strong, but they have not yet confirmed the connection as the cause.

While the CDC continues their investigation into this growing trend, they are urging people to not use e-cigarette products. MyMCMedia got some input from the local community on this issue, watch the video for more details.
