Blue, comes from Honolulu Theatre for Youth (2012) and playwright Annie Cusick Wood. It is directed by Kathryn Chase Bryer, the Associate Artistic Director of Imagination Stage and creator of My First Imagination Stage. Blue takes place in a world where blue is the only color. Blue flowers, blue grass, even blue cereal. Inky Blue and Pale Blue live in such a world until they discover something red. In this interactive show, Inky and Pale play with humor, whimsy, and all the colors of the rainbow. Actors Phil Reid and Jack Novak will play Inky and Pale Blue, respectively. Reid was last seen at Imagination Stage in Aquarium, Lyle the Crocodile, Helen Hayes Award-Winning Anime Momotaro, and Dr. Dolittle. Novak makes his Imagination Stage debut after performing with Nu Sass Productions, Faction of Fools, NextStop, and the Source Festival.
