Hurley Leads Quicken Loans National After 54 Holes (PHOTOS)

The Quicken Loans National wraps up on Sunday at Congressional Country Club where a new PGA tour champion will be crowned.

After 54 holes, Billy Hurley III is in the lead. He is followed by Ernie Els, Jon Rahm, Bill Haas, Webb Simpson and Harold Varner III.

“It will be fun tomorrow playing with Ernie and it will be a new challenge,” said Hurley III. “Last time I had the lead I played with a major winner as well. So I’ve done it before, so hopefully we can learn from that and go forward and get it done tomorrow.”

Els said he is looking forward to the final round.

“I feel like I want to go out there and prove something to myself again,” said Els. “Nothing to anybody else. Almost achieved just about everything in this game, so you know, it’s another 18 holes and I’m going to love being in contention.”
