Hundreds Affected by Large Water Main Break in Gaithersburg
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) crews are working to repair a water main break at West Side Drive in Gaithersburg.
The break occurred early Thursday morning to a large water pipe that supplies the Brighton Village Apartments. WSSC shut the water off at 7 a.m. in order to begin repairs.
Hundreds of residents of the apartments were left without water service.
WSSC is in the process of replacing the section of pipe and expect water service to be restored today.
